Hats off to Bigfoot!

To borrow unashamedly from the Drunks shtick, that was one damn bonerific performance from the big left-hander tonight. A complete game, 92 pitch effort featuring ELEVEN strikeouts and ZERO walks!
Yeah, there was that one tiny mistake to Carlos Pena that cost him the 1-0 loss but still...

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMNN was the boy good tonight.

Gotta love the idea that there are a lot of these in his future.

Oh, and "Bigfoot"? It was mentioned during tonight's broadcast that Purcey wears a size 18 shoe, and since every ballplayer needs a cool nickname....

Fantabulous performance! He outpitched that asshat Garza who owns Jays hitting for some reason.

So that's a rotation of

Halladay
Marcum
McGowan
Purcey
Litsch

...with Cecil, Romero and others on the horizon. And that's not even including the off-season pickup that may or may not be needed anymore. Isn't it great to keep your prospects, develop them on your own, and keep them for cheap?

If you listen to JP tonight he implied that Janssen was still being considered a starter for next spring, so it becomes quiet a list:

Doc
Marcum
McGowan
Purcey
Listch
Janssen
Cecil
Richmond
Parrish(?)
Romero
Romero (prob to the pen but still)
Wolfe (hardly need him to toy with starting at this point)
