If you're a loyal reader no doubt you'll have noticed that we did a major design overhaul over the past week, abandoning our old retro-MLBTR black and white layout for some brighter blues and a warmer feel. It's always a bit awkward when a small group of adult men have to discuss their favourite colours and patterns, but in the end I think we got the desired result with minimal damage to our respective masculinities.Our mission statement here had always been to provide informed, intelligently researched Jays commentary with occasional swearing, but I'd like to think that with the new format we now combine the sexiness of Naomi Watts along with the worldly braininess of Dr. Henry Kissenger. A warm thanks to all of you who've commented favourably on the changes we've made.
And last but not least... it would be very remiss of me not to thank long-standing Comrade Mike C. for his work designing our boss new Jimmy Key logo. So, Cheers, Biggie! I'll shoot down to Scot's Corner for a few Guinnesses (on me) before I blow town at the end of the week.
