AFL Brief

They told him to go down and work on taking some walks, but he socks a two-run dinger off Phillies farmhand Tyson Brummet instead to provide the margin of victory in a 7-5 Desert Dogs win over the Solar Sox yesterday. It's hard to stay mad at JP Arencibia.

None of the Jays pitchers worked, but Scott Campbell did get into the game as a defensive replacement... at third? Probably not worth reading too much into this, he has played a dozen games at the hot corner through three pro seasons.
