You know that running game that people are giving Gibbons credit for? The same group of people who mention that with a decrease in HR, SB and hit & runs are the way to go to make up for the lack of power?Well, the Jays have stolen a bunch of bases, but they're not being very efficient. With a 67% SB success rate, good enough for 28th in the majors...I think it's time to put an end to the running game. With an offense that would embarrass little leaguers, the Jays can't afford to be giving up outs like this. I realize some of the CS are including failed hit & runs, but when a team is this bad at stealing bases you have to put an end too it ASAP.
Look on the bright side though - I'm sure some of those runners that won't get caught stealing will be thrown out on a DP.
