What might have been . . .

With tonight's win, the Blue Jays are tied with the Twins for the third best record in the majors since June 22. Only the Angels and Rays have been better in that span.

The Jays are playing .605 in that period and continuing at that pace would give us 87 wins.

To continue to beat my other dead horse, without those two miserable 14 game stretches (3-11 both times) the Jays are 52-34 in all other games, i.e. playing .604 ball.

For reference, .604 over a full season is 98 wins.

What might have been....
